A lot of people, in an attempt to live peacefully with everyone, which is a great thing and we are commanded to do so, refrain from preaching the true gospel in instances where God opens a door for them, and I include myself in this group.
Just yesterday i had a great conversation with a guy who considers himself to be Buddhist. After a lot of questions, and leaving him frustrated by not having answers to a satisfactory level, I felt it was the time to preach. It was the time to bring him to reality and in most cases, this will offend and challenge people’s mindset. But I didn’t, I tried to be polite. And I regret, and repent. Thank God I’m still in touch with the guy as I got his email and number and CV (I was trying to find a position for him where I work)
If you don’t believe me or disagree with the idea, read the following:
Therefore since we are Gods offspring, we should not think that the divine being is like gold or silver or stone—an image made by human design and skill. In the past God overlooked such ignorance, but now he commands all people everywhere to repent. For he has set a day when he will judge the world with justice by the man he has appointed. He has given proof of this to everyone by raising him from the dead. (Acts 17:29-31). Read the context, it is exactly what I’m talking about.
Well, keep praying! God bless
